On most mornings, a trumpet-like blast announces the arrival of this vendor, who sells a variety of cleaning fluids and hanks of steel wool (pulled from a large roll). One brings one's own small bottle to be filled from five-liter jugs... which preemptively eliminates a fair amount of packaging waste. There are still many donkey carts in Morocco, even as there is a proliferation of sleek new autos.
